PRODUCT INFORMATION

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) can attract up to 1,000 times its weight in water and deeply hydrates the skin. The combination with vitamin B5 promotes hydration of the skin’s surface.

Hyaluronic Acid (abbreviated: HA) occurs naturally in the skin, but its natural function is not hydration. Many products containing HA claim to hydrate, but HA is a molecule too large to penetrate the skin; instead it sits on the surface and can draw moisture from the skin, making the surface temporarily feel soft and hydrated — but leaving it feeling tight once the product has been rinsed off.

This formula by The Ordinary uses three forms of HA at different molecular weights, as well as an HA crosspolymer, to deliver multi-depth hydration and visible plumping without drawing water from the skin to improve temporary surface hydration. As a result, the skin will not feel tight after rinsing, but will instead remain hydrated and plump.

Usage tips:
